This is our Petty knife, hand-forged in Somerset by Joe Garnett.
HANDLE: Octagonal handle made out of waste plastic which we will go out and find. This waste source is always changing depending on what we collect, so there can be variations in colour. The handle isn't perfect, it's rubbish.
SHAPE: Petty
A petty is a small utility knife that's nifty and good for your smaller jobs - but we use it for everything.
STEEL: 52100 (British)
This is an incredibly sharp high carbon steel. It has great rust resistance and holds an edge well.
